Refund Policy
This app exists to stop surprise charges. It would be a bit rich if ours were one.
Cancelling your membership
You may cancel your Hole In Your Pocket membership at any time from Settings.
Cancelling stops your next automatic renewal. You will continue to have full access through the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
For example, if your membership renews on August 3 and you cancel on August 6, you will keep access through September 3 and you will not be charged again on September 3.
Refunds
Membership payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins.
Cancelling your membership does not automatically create a full or prorated refund for unused days in the current billing period.
We will refund or correct charges when appropriate, including:
- duplicate charges
- billing errors
- charges made after your membership was properly cancelled and should no longer have renewed
- refunds required by applicable law
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. The time it takes for the refund to appear may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Your records
Cancelling your membership does not delete your account or anything you have saved.
After your paid access ends, your records remain associated with your account unless you choose to permanently delete your account.
If you resubscribe later, your saved information will still be there.
Account deletion
Deleting your account is different from cancelling your membership.
If you permanently delete your account while you still have paid time remaining, future billing will be stopped, but deleting your account does not automatically create a prorated refund for the unused portion of your billing period.
Account deletion permanently removes your Hole In Your Pocket account and associated app data.
Questions about a charge
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us from the email address associated with your account and include the date of the charge.
