Short version: use the app, pay $3.99 a month, cancel whenever. Here’s the longer bit.

What this app is

Hole In Your Pocket is a set of manual, rules-based tools designed to help you remember what you own, pause before purchases, track subscriptions, and notice common scam warning signs.

Hole In Your Pocket does not connect to your bank and does not provide financial, legal, tax, credit, fraud-investigation, or security advice. The app does not guarantee savings, prevent every duplicate purchase, identify every scam, or guarantee any particular financial outcome.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise legally able to enter into a binding agreement, to purchase a membership.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for the accuracy of information you enter into the app.

Membership and billing

Membership costs $3.99 per month and automatically renews each month until cancelled.

Payments are processed through Stripe. Hole In Your Pocket does not directly store your full payment-card information.

You may cancel at any time through Settings → Manage Membership. Cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep access through the end of the billing period you already paid for.

If a payment fails, access may be limited or paused. Your saved records are not deleted simply because your membership ends or a payment fails. If you later resubscribe, your saved records remain associated with your account unless you previously deleted them.

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

Prices may change in the future. If the price of your membership changes, notice will be provided before the new price applies to a future renewal. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.

Your data

The information you enter belongs to you. Please see our Privacy Policy for information about how data is collected, stored, and handled.

You may request or use available account controls to delete your account and its associated data.

Using the service

Do not misuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with the app’s operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Limits of the service

Hole In Your Pocket is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep the service reliable and useful, but we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate.

You remain responsible for your own purchasing, subscription, financial, and security decisions. For anything important or suspicious, verify the information directly with the relevant company, financial institution, government agency, or other appropriate source.

Ending your account

You may stop using Hole In Your Pocket at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access when an account is used to abuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or violate these Terms.

Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. If a material change affects your paid membership, reasonable notice will be provided before the change takes effect.
